Welcome to the Huntsville/Madison County Builders Association’s Building Home & Remodeling ShowSM website.
The ShowSM took place on March 6 – 8, 2009 and featured over 200 companies, occupying 100,000+ square feet of exhibit space. The exhibits included any type of service or product needed to build or remodel - all under one roof! This was your one - stop - shop for any building and remodeling need. This year’s focus was on GREEN BUILD! Exhibitors had great new products that can help you save energy and money.
"Green" was defined as follows for the purpose of the Building, Home & Remodeling Show SM:
Resource & waste management (re-cycling materials)
Energy efficient systems (i.e. heating/cooling systems, insulation, and appliances designed for efficiency & comfort, compact fluorescent lighting, LED lighting)
Resource efficient plumbing (i.e. tankless water heaters, low flow showers & toilets, irrigation systems)
Indoor air quality (i.e. air filtration, ventilation, fresh air exchange systems)
Eco-friendly development practices & design
The Association is sorry that you missed this year's Building, Home & Remodeling ShowSM, but we still have information on each exhibitor on this site for your review throughout 2009. During this year’s ShowSM, the Association featured a “Treasure Hunt” with over $38,000 in products and services that will be given away to lucky consumers.
